Low Emission and Congestion Zones

Low Emission Zones

Low Emission and Congestion Zones database

Low Emission and Congestion Zones are areas with driving restrictions to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality. GeoJunxion aggregated such environmental data in a geographical database. Examples of such driving restrictions are: Low Emission Zones, Congestion Charging & Clean Air Zones, Traffic Limited Zones. These areas, where driving restrictions are enforced, affect various types of transports with different engines, including light and heavy vehicles. GeoJunxion database currently includes 2,800+ zones.

Most of the Munich metropolitan area is within a low emission zone. Vehicles entering this zone must carry a green stickerRead more about low emission zones in Munich.

Safety Geofences

School Safety Zones

Smart geofences database

Smart and dynamic geofences are part of the GeoJunxion’s Safety Alert Zones suite of products. They are designed to help making roads and people safer. Typically, those areas have a higher density of people at certain times of the day, and, consequently higher probability of accidents, in certain specific conditions.  For example, at location such as schools, hospitals, playgrounds, or, in other special cases, like driving a car through tunnels, bridges, accident-prone areas and many more.

The smart and dynamic geofences are often time and weather dependent, which makes such data product even more relevant as they simplify the natural complexity and variability of the mentioned cases.
